Under Lock and Key
The front of the famous lock at the Biertan fortified church, which won an award for Mediaeval Engineering at the World Exhibition in 1937. The real treat is on the other side of the door, where you find a large and intricate piece of machinery. The door itself is quite massive, and it guards the entrance to the vestry.
